Learn fast. ### Can I start with a 500-box pilot run? Yes. Qualified projects begin with a 500-box pilot; the brief review confirms the formula, strip count and packaging fit it. The pilot is sellable product, released with the same tests as a full run. ### How many strips does that mean? Five hundred 20-count boxes equal 10,000 strips. Five hundred 30-count boxes equal 15,000 strips. We show both box and strip quantities in the project brief so the first run is easy to picture. ### Private label or custom? Private label is faster when an existing concept already fits your brand. Custom development is for a new active, dose or mouthfeel, and adds development rounds before the pilot. ### What happens after I send a project brief? An engineer reads it and replies with what is feasible at your dose, what has to be tested first, and the pilot scope and timing. ### What are oral dissolving films also called? Depending on intended use, buyers may use oral dissolving film (ODF), oral thin film (OTF), mouth-dissolving strip, fast-dissolving strip, sublingual film, buccal film, melt-in-mouth strip, or orally disintegrating film. The intended route and product claims must be confirmed for each project. ### Is an oral film manufacturer the same as an OEM, CMO, or CDMO? OEM, CMO and CDMO are labels for how much development the manufacturer does. StripWorks does both: private label on an existing concept, or custom development from your active.
